RAW MATERIALS

The foundation of our multi-level line of support is raw materials. In this ground-level department, we provide a wide variety of metal, plastic, phenolic, and rubber products. Within this group our greatest demands are for metals. Olympic Aviation supplies all types of metals: aluminum, stainless steel, aircraft quality alloy steel, titanium, magnesium, nickel alloys, super alloys and exotics. Furthermore, we can supply these materials in all of their forms: foil, sheet, plate, bar, tubing, extrusion, casting, and forging. We also maintain in our warehouse processing equipment for these products. Our in-house shearing and saw-cutting abilities decrease delivery times as well as insure that our customer's materials are processed with the utmost care in order to provide items with the minimum amount of handling defects. We use our own PVC film applicating machine to provide protection to our customer's aluminum sheet requirements. This also allows us to thoroughly inspect each sheet prior to its shipment.

In the pages that follow in this section, we have catalogued some of the major metal product lines which we supply. Time and space prevent us from showing all the materials and forms which we can supply, so should you not see listed the particular product that you are interested in, please do not hesitate to call us for supplementary guides. We hope that the information which follows helps you better understand some of the standard sizes available in the American marketplace. Also provided are a number of cross references reflecting specific alloys and their corresponding military and industrial specifications. We can, in most cases, provide manufacturer's test reports which clearly indicate a particular item's conformance to the requirements of the appropriate specification.
